ALPSiX is Carinthia's central Internet Exchange Point. Networks connect directly with one another here, instead of sending data via distant exchange points. That shortens the paths and improves performance and resilience.

With locations in Klagenfurt and Villach, a hub is taking shape in the south of Austria where companies, network operators, data centres and public organisations can exchange traffic and connect both regionally and internationally.
